The veterans are entitled to several benefits given by the United States. There are many types of veterans benefits like retirement pension, medical assistance, psychiatric aid, educational privileges, financial assistance, housing benefits, employment benefits and many more. But, the benefits of every military staff may vary to one another, depending on the position, degree of disability, if still in service or not and other aspects that could affect the qualification of the soldier. The loved ones or dependent(s) of a service member is also entitled to a number of privileges, but again depending on the extent of the benefit program. Military Leave

Leaves are one of the many military benefits provided to our armed forces members. In the United States, the "leave" is the consent given to a military to be absent from his/her unit for a particular time period.

There are different types of leaves in the United States' armed forces. The four (4) most general kinds include (a) Ordinary Leave (b) Emergency Leave (c) convalescent leave and (d) permissive TDY. All members are given with 30-days of leave every year under regular situations. A service person's leave is annotated in the monthly Leave and Earnings Statement and is accumulated at the rate of 2.5 days per month.
